MY APPROACH
My philosophy is that effective therapy begins with a trusting relationship where each client feels safe and understood. I understand that many clients have spent years in therapy without seeing the progress they had hoped for. That’s why I integrate evidence-based therapies to ensure personal growth, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), into my practice. By utilizing these proven methods, I help my clients develop targeted strategies to achieve their goals in a timely and effective manner.
My objective is to give my clients a greater sense of personal awareness, self-esteem, and agency in their lives. Together, we can work towards your growth and healing, helping you live your best life.

FOR INDIVIDUALS
Meeting individually is an opportunity to address personal challenges in a confidential environment. It is a safe space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with a trained professional.
Through this one-on-one interaction, I help clients gain insight into their past experiences and how they may be impacting their present lives. In meeting with clients individually, I aim to enhance their coping skills, improve communication, and contribute to ongoing self-awareness and self-esteem.
FOR FAMILIES
Family therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for family members to communicate and work together to solve problems and strengthen relationships.
As a therapist, I help families identify problematic patterns of behavior and ineffective methods of communication. I teach them new skills that facilitate greater understanding, empathy, and trust among them. In addition to building more satisfying relationships within the family unit, my goal is to enhance each person’s awareness of how their family dynamics influence their individual behaviors, relationships, and lives.
TELEHEALTH
Telehealth therapy is a convenient way to receive therapy services from the comfort of one’s own home or any chosen location. Telehealth eliminates the need for travel, making it easier and more convenient to fit therapy into busy schedules.
Studies demonstrate multiple benefits of Telehealth, including increased access to therapy and decreased stigma associated with seeking mental health services. Telehealth increases the willingness of clients to seek help and produces results commensurate with in-person services.

ABOUT ME
My passion for psychology stems from my understanding that emotions are part of every human experience and my belief that therapy inspires development and healing. As far back as I can remember, I have been fascinated by human behavior. As a child, I loved reading books about psychology, drawn to the idea of using this knowledge to help others. I knew from a young age that I wanted to become a psychologist. I studied psychology as an undergraduate, which led me to pursue my doctorate degree.
Over the course of my career, I have worked in diverse settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practice. I have experience helping clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, substance use, and PTSD. While I work with clients across the developmental lifespan, I have additional expertise in providing evidence-based therapies to adolescents and young adults.
As a therapist, I utilize a compassionate and collaborative approach. I work with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets their unique needs and goals. I believe that growth is possible in every circumstance, and I am committed to helping you get there!
